Welcome to the November issue of e:news from Health & Safety Matters.

This month we want to hear from you if you have any questions about your duties under the REACH Directive. With time running out for pre-registraion of imported and manufactured substances (the closing date is 01.12.08) and even the most experienced safety professionals admit they are baffled by the new regulations, HSM has arranged to put your questions to a member of the UK Reach Compliance team. So if you have something to ask, please email your question by clicking here. The questions and answers will be published in the December issue of HSM.

If you'd prefer some first hand advice, Chemical Conference Live '08 is a brand new conference with the aim of helping companies to address their obligations in relation to handling chemicals. Read the full story below or register here.

Finally if you haven't yet completed the HSM reader survey, there is still time to do so, just click here. This is your chance to influence the future content of the magazine and there is also an ipod touch and some Marks & Spencers vouchers up for grabs.

As always, if you're interested in receiving further details on any of the products or services listed below, please use the free reader enquiry service. Don’t forget to leave contact details and a brief description of your requirements.
